Paralympic Sports
Currently, there are 28 Paralympic sports recognized by the IPC, of which 22 are summer sports and 6 are winter sports.
The two newest sports to gain Paralympic status are badminton and taekwondo, which debuted at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
The newest winter sport is snowboarding, which debuted at the 2014 Sochi Winter Paralympics.
